19 Jul 2010 - The Queensland Farmers’ Federation has welcomed the forthcoming Federal Election, and looks forward to hearing from all political parties on how they will set a positive agenda for Queensland agriculture.
The Queensland Farmer's Federation (QFF) unites 16 of Queensland's peak rural industry organisations who collectively represent more than 13,000 primary producers across the state. QFF is a federation of the major rural commodity organisations and value-adders working on behalf of all primary producers and rural communities.
Through QFF, rural industry resources are pooled to ensure powerful representation and effective strategy development on important issues.

• Ensure member organisations are well-informed on issues of strategic importance
• Demonstrating leadership and a positive and proactive approach
• Working together to seek positive outcomes on issues of common interest
• Seeking outcomes that meet positive economic, social, environmental and regional matters
• Recognising and embracing diversity within the QFF membership in achieving acceptable solutions for all members
• Foster a culture which recognises that responsible natural resource management is an integral part of sound business management
