CEO - Dan Galligan Dan Galligan joined the team at Queensland Farmers’ Federation in January 2009. Mr Galligan was previously the Policy Manager for Cotton Australia in Queensland. He had been with Cotton Australia for nearly ten years. During this time, he worked in advocacy roles in Queensland and NSW, as well as holding grower services and management positions. He is well known for being the immediate-past Chairman of the Queensland Primary Industries Week Committee, as well as being central to the cotton industry's negotiations on accrediting the industry voluntary Best Management Practices program, as delivering against the statutory land and water management planning framework in Queensland. |

Communications and Policy Officer - Brad Pfeffer Brad joined the QFF team in April 2010, and has six years experience with media and rural industries in Queensland. He has been based in Brisbane and Rockhampton with a major rural newspaper, and has met with numerous farmers across the State in that time. He has also worked as a staffer in a regional Queensland political office and prior to joining QFF, Brad worked for QFF-member organisation, Cotton Australia, in its Sydey office. |

Sustainable Agriculture Policy Officer - Adam Knapp Adam joined QFF in January 2008, and brings with him five years experience in project management of environmental initiatives and sustainability issues in the Australian seafood industry. He has travelled regularly throughout Queensland and interstate in training and mediation roles with primary producers. Prior to that Adam worked for the National Native Tribunal in Brisbane and Sydney which involved assisting in finding resolutions between indigenous groups, land holders and government stakeholders. |

Special Projects Officer - Water -Ian Johnson Ian has been working with QFF and the Queensland Irrigators’ Council on water reform issues since October 1998. Ian has a consulting business that was formed in 1991 to address economic development projects and policy issues. Prior to becoming a consultant Ian held senior positions in central agencies of the Queensland Government. He has a degree in Economics and post graduate qualifications in urban and regional planning.

Project Officer - Drought - Peter Perkins Peter Perkins is an experienced agribusiness consultant and has worked previously for QFF on drought projects. He is an economist by training and has specialised in marketing and communications roles for much of his career. He spent his early years in the prairie provinces of Canada before working in Canberra and then Brisbane. |
