- The Queensland Agricultural Workforce Network (QAWN) has started working with industry Best Management Practice (BMP) programs to identify what accredited training would help address skills and knowledge gaps. Details HERE.
- Throughout Queensland there are currently 43 Agribusiness Gateway to Industry Schools with numbers growing every year. See how newest member Tully State High School has kicked off its program in 2017 HERE.
- The School to Industry Partnership Program (SIPP) had a big 2016 conducting 41 events, which engaged over 4,933 students, 799 teachers and 3,292 other participants. See how SIPP is hitting the ground running again this year HERE.
- The IRC Skills Forecasts and Proposed Schedules of Work designed to identify skills gaps within training packages is now seeking feedback. The RJSA believe feedback is fundamental to ensure the needs of agriculture are adequately represented. Give RJSA feedback HERE. General feedback HERE.
