The Queensland Farmers’ Federation has a strong focus on promoting positive messages surrounding the agricultural sector in this State. This involves regular media releases, newspaper comment pieces, and media interviews on issues relevant to QFF and its members. Communicating these messages clearly and quickly is of importance to support the policy work undertaken at QFF.
Weekly Bulletin
The QFF Weekly Bulletin continues to be the centrepiece of QFF communications to members and the broader community. This weekly email is sent to 6500 readers each Monday and provides a summary and analysis of agricultural policy news from the preceding week. The Bulletin highlights key QFF policy areas and achievements, while also giving members an opportunity to voice their latest news and issues. The Bulletin regularly provides a summary of political and other agricultural events of that week. Subscribers to the Bulletin include politicians, QFF members, farmers, departmental staff, journalists, and other farm lobby groups.
Queensland Country Life
QFF’s ongoing contribution to the Queensland Country Life via our president’s column continues to be a well-read news item for Queensland farmers and decision-makers. It is an opportunity to share our policy positions and work with a wide rural audience and our members.
