- Queensland United Egg Producers (QUEP) is a founding member of Egg Farmers of Australia. QUEP is among many agricultural industry groups that sit under the auspice of the Queensland Farmers Federation. - A parliamentary committee and inquiry into Australia’s proposed transformation to a green energy superpower has been established to identify the challenges and the opportunities relating to the renewable energy transition. - The Queensland Government is seeking community input to guide how the energy transformation can deliver benefits to Queensland regions. Regional consultation on the draft Partnerships Framework is now open and will be undertaken from late 2022 to mid-2023 to give communities the opportunity to shape and tailor the framework for their local community. - Applications close this Sunday 13th. Following the extraordinary success and popularity of Round 1 of the Queensland Agritourism Business Grants, QFF is pleased to deliver Round 2, offering a 50 percent co-contribution up to a maximum of $25K to match farmers’ funds. This grant will assist farmers to establish or expand into agritourism by employing professional or specialist services or constructing or modifying on-farm infrastructure.
