- After three years, the Reef Alliance’s Growing a Great Barrier Reef project has concluded with two reports released today detailing the partnership’s achievements in encouraging farmers to embrace practice change and make on-farm improvements to mitigate and manage agriculture’s impact on the Reef. - QFF has reached a major milestone in the Energy Savers Plus Program Extension, with half of the 200 farm energy audits now complete and significant energy savings identified. - The invasive moth pest fall armyworm has been found on Australia’s mainland for the first time. The detection in Bamaga follows recent confirmed detections on two Torres Strait Islands, Erub and Saibai and underlines how quickly this pest can spread. More information HERE.
