- The Queensland Government is holding a series of workshops across the state to help landholders apply for the Land Restoration Fund. - Emergency Bushfire Response in Primary Industries Grants up to $75,000 are now available for primary producers in parts of the Livingstone council area who suffered direct damage as a result of the Eastern Queensland Bushfires in 2019. More information HERE.
- Specialist mental health support will be provided for individuals, families, volunteers and communities impacted by recent bushfire events and Community Development Officers will be deployed to address recovery needs and develop community-led action plans. Details HERE.

- The Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre is looking to tackle the nation’s food waste problem with a new program providing access to funding, skills and expertise to find the best food waste solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises to assist in their efficiency and sustainability. - Registrations are now open for the 2020 Pineapple Field Days to be held in Bundaberg region from 23 – 24 July. Pineapple growers, agronomists and industry enthusiasts can take advantage of early bird ticket prices and save $55 on their ticket when they book online before 31 May 2020.
