- The second round of funding under the Land Restoration Fund is now open. Queensland farmers, landholders, land managers and First Nations peoples interested in developing a new carbon farming project are invited to check their eligibility and apply HERE.

- A unique partnership between vegan fashion designer Emma Hakkansson, Cotton Australia and cotton farmer Renee Anderson this week culminated in the launch of a film that follows the journey of cotton from farm to finished product. Read more HERE.
- Following successive lockdowns in South East Queensland, $5,000 grants will be made available to small and medium businesses across Queensland affected by the COVID-19 lockdown that commenced on Saturday 31 July 2021. - The Australian Rail Track Corporation has prepared a draft environmental impact statement for the Inland Rail – Gowrie to Helidon project. The Queensland Coordinator-General has released this draft for public exhibition and comment. This review will run from Monday 2 August to Monday 25 October 2021.
