Three energy management training courses are available to Queensland businesses during June and July of this year, including:
1. Introduction to Energy Management
2. Building the Business Case for Energy Efficiency
3. Advanced Energy Management.
The courses include on-line and workshop sessions and are available in Brisbane, Cairns, Mackay and Bundaberg.
The Queensland Government is offering significant subsidies for the program for a limited time and will support businesses with follow-up support and guidance
What will the courses cover?
In the Introduction to Energy Management course, you will learn how to understand your energy bill, interpret energy data, identify energy cost savings, and implement energy actions.
The Building the Business Case for Energy Efficiency course will teach you how develop and sell a business case for energy efficiency projects in your business including, how to analyse the economic benefits, quantifying and promoting the business benefits, finance options and communicating the business case.
In the Advanced Energy Management course, you will learn how to incorporate energy management into core business, understand generation options for your business and understand asset planning to optimise energy usage of major equipment as well as engaging senior management in energy strategy.
The subsidised Post-training support will allow you to gain expert advice to implement energy efficiency opportunities
The cost of these courses has been reduced significantly with subsidies of around 75% provided by the Queensland Government.
