- A new documentary ‘Chasing Coral‘ has been released on Netflix which follows coral scientists exploring an underwater heatwave that is killing corals around the planet. View trailer HERE.
- The Great Barrier Reef has avoided being placed on UNESCO’s “in danger” list at its World Heritage Committee’s (WHC) annual meeting earlier this month. However the WHC remains concerned about Queensland’s water quality targets and land clearing laws.
