This event will bring together industry, academia and plastic experts to collectively identify the challenges associated with the recovery and reuse of PVC in Queensland. The forum will create a platform for stakeholders to share knowledge and collectively generate opportunities for future solutions and investment under Queensland’s Plastic Pollution Reduction Plan.
These may include an increase in the quantity and quality of available PVC material collected that would otherwise be disposed of as waste to landfill or stockpiled as another source of plastic pollution. It may also consider opportunities to support the creation and expansion of new products and markets in Queensland.
Challenging Plastics: The PVC Forum will aim to generate opportunities and ideas, that once realised, will have a positive impact on PVC manufacturing, remanufacturing, usage, collection and recycling in Queensland.
The workshop runs from 8.30am to 5.30pm. For more information or to register to attend visit Eventbrite.
