The Energy Engagement and Education Advisor (EEEA) facilitates meaningful engagement, consultation and education within Queensland’s agriculture sector.
The EEEA is working with QFF's peak body members to support the development of policy, projects and initiatives in relation to renewable energy.
About the Energy Engagement and Education Advisor
Supported by Powerlink, the Energy Engagement and Education Advisor (EEEA) drives meaningful engagement between the energy sector and QFF’s 20 peak body members and the 13,000 primary producers they represent throughout regional Queensland.
The EEEA works with QFF’s peak body members to:
- Understand the agriculture sector’s key priorities in the roll out of renewable energy and the Queensland Energy Roadmap, as well as those of regional communities and support the energy sector engage with the agriculture sector.
- Build case studies of landholder interactions with renewable energy developments and transmission infrastructure.
- Share educational materials on key aspects of the Queensland energy transformation including renewable energy hubs, transmission and community investment opportunities, renewable energy developments, the wider Queensland power system transformation, and energy policy as it relates to Queensland agriculture.
- Identify opportunities and provide input to improve policy development and technological advancements.
