  4. Rural Aid has reached a major milestone; supporting 200 farms through its recovery program. The initiative offers tailored assistance to help producers bounce back stronger after natural disasters and other challenges. Read more here.

  5. Fire ants pose a serious threat to Queensland’s nursery production sector — from operational disruptions and increasing compliance obligations, to reputational and financial risk. Greenlife Industry Queensland is hosting a member forum that puts growers and nursery businesses at the centre of the conversation with senior leaders from the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP).   9. Phase1 of the Future Drought Fund’s Innovation Challenges Pilot Grant is now open. Grants of up to $2 million are available per consortium-led project addressing drought resilience through natural capital & biodiversity, water management, or community resilience. Read more here.
