- The Federal Government has introduced its new food and grocery code of conduct to parliament in its final sitting week of the year. Supermarkets who breach the new mandatory code could face multi-million-dollar fines. Read more here.

- Applications are now open for the AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship for students studying an agriculture-related undergraduate degree or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths/Finance (STEM) degree with relevant majors which align to agriculture. - A stonefruit farmer in the Lockyer Valley and owner of Blackboy Ridge Farm has recently participated in QFF’s on-farm energy efficiency program Energy SQ, receiving an energy audit which recommended a number of energy efficiency improving opportunities. Learn more here
