- Canegrowers, GrainGrowers, and the Australian Sugar Milling Council, have urged the Federal Government to immediately initiate a national low-carbon liquid fuel feedstock strategy to give effect to the ambitious agenda outlined in its Aviation White Paper which was released last week. - RACQ have released a video demonstrating the urgent need to fix the Bruce Highway, which currently has over 750km of road rated at just two stars on a five-point safety rating scale. Watch it here. - The Supervisors Short Course is nationally accredited training designed to give agricultural supervisors knowledge and skills needed to support workplace development and optimal performance of their staff and/or trainees. - Last week was the inaugural National Biosecurity Week. With biosecurity risks expected to increase four-fold in Queensland in the years ahead, QFF are calling on political parties to develop a shared responsibility and investment model that positions Queensland to effectively manage these biosecurity risks.
