  1. QFF, the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC), and Business Chamber Queensland, are calling on the Federal Government to add in SMEs to the Economic Resilience Program to keep vital family businesses operating and regional economies going during the ongoing input supply crisis.   3. The Queensland Government has launched the $30 million Sowing the Seeds of Farming Innovation Fund to supercharge the development of on-farm technology and innovation across the State’s agriculture industry. Read more here.

  5. Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers (QFVG) has highlighted a local fertiliser production model being developed by an Australian company which could provide growers with more stable pricing, improved supply certainty and reduced exposure to global market shocks. Read more here.

  8. The Queensland Government has announced a fuel security plan which includes unlocking oil reserves, refining more fuel, boosting fuel storage capacity, improving transparency and removing state taxes on fuel prices. Read more here.
  9. Water policy is a key strategic priority for QFF and our members. QFF has recently provided several submissions to government on topics including the Murray Darling Basin Plan Review, National Water Reforms and a review of the RAB-based irrigation pricing proposal.
