Abby - Agronomy/Projects Coordinator
Abby is a fourth-generation ginger farmer whose pathway into agriculture was anything but traditional. With a background in health science, she brought transferable skills in research, analysis and evidence-based thinking into the family farming business - proving that you don't always need an agriculture degree to build a career in the industry.

Jasmine - Extension Officer
Jasmine studied Zoology and Ecology before finding her way into agriculture through a work placement on a banana farm. Today she’s the link between researchers and cane growers across the Burdekin.

Cam - Founder, Speed Tagger
Cam didn't grow up on a farm. He entered agriculture through study and a desire to solve real problems faced by graziers, and built a growing agricultural technology business in Queensland's South Burnett region - designing and selling innovative livestock identification equipment alongside running his own breeding herd.

Billie - Agronomist
Billie studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in Agronomy and was offered a job during her work placement before she'd even graduated. She now works across cane, grain and horticulture, splitting her time between farms and the office - helping growers use fewer pesticides, improve sustainability and build more profitable businesses.
