- After attending the Deputy Prime Minister’s release of a CSIRO report into the Inland Rail project in Brisbane last week, QFF is calling for the state government to get on board, or risk leaving Queensland’s agriculture sector behind. Read the media release HERE.

- Congratulations to Natasha Roebig who recently received the 2019 Queensland Rural Women’s Award. The co-founding owner of Bee All Natural plans to use the $10,000 bursary to establish a Beekeepers’ training facility. More information HERE.
- The Bureau of Meteorology has revised its ENSO Outlook to “El Niño Alert” meaning the chance of an El Niño forming during Autumn is now 70 per cent or roughly three times the normal risk. Check out the Farmer Disaster Support website HERE for more information.
