- Queensland farmers can continue manufacturing composts and other organic products on farm after the Department of Environment and Science specified a clear exemption for on-farm composting under the waste management licencing framework. QFF media statement HERE.

- Farmers looking to save money on their energy bill are encouraged to get involved with an Ergon Energy trial of load control Tariff 33. It offers price cuts of between 15 and 25c/kWh for peak periods to growers who agree to have their supply interrupted to manage load on the network. Details HERE.
