- When identifying fire ants, look for a 2-6mm, coppery brown ant with a darker abdomen and no obvious entry or exit holes in the nest. If you see any suspect ants or nests, please take a photograph and submit via Biosecurity Queensland’s online report form HERE or call 13 25 23.
