- The Crisafulli Government has appointed respected leader and strong horticultural advocate Ms Rachel Chambers as the Queensland Food Farmers’ Commissioner for a three-year term beginning 27 October 2025. During her time as CEO of Queensland Fruit & Vegetable Growers, Ms Chambers has been a fearless advocate on behalf of Queensland’s commercial fruit, vegetable and nut growers and industry is pleased that she will continue working for Queensland food farmers in her new role.
