QFF and the Australian Organics Recycling Association are delivering multiple workshops throughout Queensland to promote the use of recycled organics in agriculture and to provide the appropriate education to the market on the benefits of compost and to provide information relating to the correct use of composts and mulches.
The workshops are part of a series of workshops sponsored by the Queensland Government through the Department of Environment and Science that will take place across regional Queensland.
The workshops will help end users understand the benefits and effective use of compost and
mulches produced from recycled organic inputs. This will help the Organics Recycling Industry better understand and respond to the needs of the current and emerging agriculturalists.
The workshops are presented by David Hall, a leading Agronomist, who will explain the commercial and environmental benefits derived from the use of compost in the Queensland Agricultural Industry.
The first workshops in Gatton and Beerwah attracted over 100 growers. Sadly the workshop for Stanthorpe has been reschedule until 2022.
A list of locations and dates for the remaining workshops will be announced shortly. Please check back!
